Registration

How do I register for ourlounge.co.uk?

  • You need to log on to the website www.ourlounge.co.uk from any internet enabled PC or mobile device.
  • Go to the 'New to ourlounge' area of the website on the right hand side of the front page.
  • You need to register with the same email address you used through the recruitment process e.g name, email address, restaurant number and then the same or a new password.
  • Your password is case-sensitive and must be 7 -15 characters long, containing at least one number and upper case letter, e.g. Abcdef1 or 123456F.
  • You should then be able to assess ourlounge in the next 24 hours (excluding weekends), if you are taken to an additional screen please read the next question below.


I have tried to register for ourlounge.co.uk but it won't let me, why?

  • You have may not have waited for 48 hours to register from when you had your welcome meeting, consequently the system does not recognise your details or the details that you have entered do not match those used in the recruitment process.
  • You can still register if you continue to the next screen after entering your email address and password, you will need to complete some additional information including your restaurant number, date of birth and full name.
  • An email will then be sent to your restaurant to approve your registration.
  • You will then receive an email to tell you when your account has been approved.
  • You will then be able to access the site and do your orientation.

I have tried to register for ourlounge.co.uk but it won't let me and has sent an email to the restaurant for approval, what should I do now?

  • Your details have been sent to the restaurant for approval.
  • We will check your details at the restaurant and send you a registration confirmation once your details are approved.
  • You will then be able to access ourlounge.

Passwords

I have forgotten my password. What should I do?

  • You need to enter your email address in the 'Forgot Password' part of the website on the right hand side of the front page.
  • The email address you send your password to needs to be the email address you registered on to ourlounge with.
  • Your password will be emailed to you so make sure you use a valid email address

I have registered for ourlounge.co.uk but I cannot log in. I have been sent a password reminder but I still cannot log in to the website. Why can't I log in?

Check your password is exactly the same as the one you have been sent, your password is case-sensitive and must be 7 -15 characters long, containing at least one number and upper case letter, e.g. Abcdef1 or 123456F.


I've requested a new password, but I'm still waiting, what do I do?

Passwords are sent within ten minutes so please check your Junk/Spam mail folder if you do not receive a new password.


I would like to change my password how do I do this?

  • When you are logged in to ourlounge please click on either your initials/profile picture in the top right hand corner of the homepage next to the 'Welcome xxx' message
  • Click 'About me'
  • Click 'Password' in the right hand menu
  • Change your password to whatever you choose, please make sure this is between 7-15 characters long, containing at least one number and upper case letter, e.g. Abcdef1 or 123456F. Your password is case sensitive.
  • Click 'Save' on the right hand side at the bottom of the page and your password is changed.

Account Lockout and Renewal

I have registered for ourlounge.co.uk but I cannot log in?

If your account hasn't been used for 365 days or more, your account will be locked.

When you try to log-in an an automatic email will be sent to your restaurant, please ask your restaurant to reinstate your account.


You will receive an email to confirm that your Manager has renewed your account.


You will need to log-in before 11.59pm on the day your account is renewed to reactivate this.

Email Address Change

I have changed the email address I use for ourlounge.co.uk, can I just create a new account?

  • No, please don't create a new account as you will lose any learning you have started, any cash back through employee discounts and your learning record.
  • Please update your email address in MyStuff and in ourlounge by following these steps:
  • Click on your initials/profile picture in the top right hand corner of the homepage next to the 'Welcome xxx' message, when you are logged in.
  • Click on 'Details' in the right hand menu.
  • Change your email address.
  • Click 'Save' on the right hand side of the page at the bottom and your email address is changed.

Error Message

I can't access Learning or Employee discounts?


If you are unable to access My Learning or Employee discounts please ensure you are using the correct email account, as recorded in PeopleStuff. Please check with your Manager if you are unsure of the correct email address.

Email Alerts

How can I subscribe/unsubscribe to the ourlounge email alerts?

To do this:-

  • Click on your initials/profile picture in the top right hand corner of the homepage next to the 'Welcome xxx' message, when you are logged in.
  • Click on 'McDonald's Ourlounge' in the right hand menu.
  • Tick/untick the 'Newsletter' check box
  • Click 'Save' on the right hand side of the page at the bottom and you are now subscribed/unsubscribed to the newsletter.
